Staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable; walking distance to all the Historic sights. Room comfortable and clean.Wine and cheese were served to us (on Wednesdays) in the cozy lobby in front of the huge fireplace. Tea and cookies always in the lobby. Breakfast was just right with hot and cold offerings on the buffet. (Would have liked to see whole wheat bread among the offerings but they did have fruit and yogurt).We stayed there on a beautiful snowy night and the city was transformed into a winter wonderland. It was great to still get to the flower show- a must see in March.We will be back next time we want to stay in the city!

Location is right at the historical center, very near the independence hall, the US mint and many other sights.The hotel is well maintained and clean. It has the look and feel and scent of an historical site though.Breakfast was very good (see photos). No fresh vegetables though.Mind the exact type of room you take since we asked for two separate beds but the room type (queen bed) didn't fit that request.There are some restaurants in the neighborhood but not to many if you are on a budget.

Great stay. Television location slightly odd. Beautiful building with tall ceilings. Right in the center of historic Philadelphia. Liberty Bell waffles were a neat surprise. Will consider staying again if in Philly
