We went for a short weekend trip to Philly. Looked around for a hotel but everything had very high parking fees. Since we drove from NYC, it was something that we needed. I found the Independence Park Hotel and they had a very reasonable parking fee with in-and-out privileges. We ended up leaving the car parked and walked everywhere but it was great to have the option w/o paying extra. The hotel has been recently renovated and our room was perfect. We stayed in room 503. The view wasn't anything special but everything was clean and new. Some pictures in the reviews are from the older rooms. Another thing that we liked was that breakfast was included. Wide variety of hot and cold options. The staff was friendly.I would definitely recommend staying here.

Staff was welcoming, friendly, and provided for our needs. The included breakfast had many options and was served on plates and silverware (not paper and plastic). For other meals, there are many food options within walking distance.

From check in to check out my stay was perfect. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable and the front desk staff were very accommodating and knowledgeable. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking all of the historic sites. I highly recommend.
