Very nice hotel, very clean, help and courteous staff. Many of the historical sites are in walking distance as well as some good restaurants.

Not an ordinary Best ...

Not an ordinary Best Western. I used my points to get the price down. Close to I-95, it was easy to pull up in front, though still on the road, and get a temporary loading pass and 24-hour parking tag for a nearby garage, just around the corner . Everything seemed to be fresh and brand new, with beautiful touches. Our room on the second floor was small but sufficient. The window looked onto a small courtyard. It was so dark it was hard to tell what time of day it was, unless you looked up to the sky. Coffee and tea in the room was k-cups. The TV was high on the wall with a large number of channels and an easy remote. We had a large shower stall with floor drain, 5 bottles of shampoos, etc. Every member of the staff greeted us cheerfully. Breakfast in the Atrium had many choices, all well done. (Someone actually made waffles for us.) We wanted to go to the Museum of the American Revolution (a must see), which was right across the street. We also went to Independence Hall and several other sights a short walk nearby. It was July 3-4th, so there were many activities both days. We went to Bourse Food Hall for Philly Steaks, and The Franklin Fountain for ice-cream. We saw fireworks along the river. I feel like we did a lot in less than 24 hours. Everything went smoothly!
