Very friendly staff & very helpful with any request. Beautiful historic building. Decorated nicely for Christmas. The staff made gingerbread houses for a competition. Guests voted for their favorite. It's within walking distance of lots of the historical sights in the city. Walked around both day & night with no problems. You will encounter lots of homeless people in Philly. Lots of military in town this weekend for the Army/Navy football game. Loved my anniversary visit to Philly.

This BW Independence Park is a great place to stay, walking distance to all historical places. All staff very friendly and hospitable. Great decor of this 1857 historical building. Really enjoyed the wine and cheese reception on early Wed eve and meeting other guests. Great breakfast buffet and enjoyed the hot mulled cider offered in the reception area throughout the day. Will definitely stay here again next time in Philly
