About This Event

March is a huge month for college hoops fans thanks to the annual NCAA Division I men’s college basketball tournament — aka March Madness.

Set to coincide with America’s 250th anniversary, the 2026 tournament kicks off in Philadelphia when the city hosts first- and second-round tournament play (aka the subregionals) at Xfinity Mobile Arena on March 20 and 22, 2026.

Philly last hosted the annual tournament back in 2022, when the University of Pennsylvania hosted the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight regional rounds.
