The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County is pleased to announce its partnership with Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey for the 2021 Women\'s Philanthropy Gratitude Project, from October 18th – November 15th, 2021. Donations will benefit organizations across Monmouth and Middlesex Counties including the Jewish Family and Children Services in Monmouth County, Jewish Family Services in Middlesex, County Food Pantry and Women’s Center, Fulfill, Women Aware Domestic Violence Services, and other supported agencies in need. \ \ Suggested Items include: Soap, shampoo/conditioner, feminine hygiene products, toothbrushes/toothpaste, deodorant, diapers and wipes, toilet paper, socks, gloves, hats, and gift cards (en-couraged for the following retailers: Food Stores: ShopRite, Stop & Shop, Superfresh, Keyfood/Tropical, Aldi, Lidl. Superstores: Walmart, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, CVS, Walgreens, Kohl’s, Boscov’s, Marshalls, HomeGoods, T.J. Maxx, and Amazon.)\ \ Suggested Food Items include: Canned tuna, chicken, and salmon (in water ;) Canned veggies (low sodium, when possible;) cooking oils, shelf-stable milk, pancake mix and syrup, peanut but-ter and jelly, canned fruits (in juice or light syrup;) fruit juice (100% juice,) soups (low sodium, when possible;) ready-to-eat canned meals, cereals (cold and hot such as oatmeal, steel-cut oats, farina, and muesli,) rice, beans, and pasta. These items should be kosher, when possible, and please, no glass containers.\ \ Donations can be dropped off at the Museum at 310 Mounts Corner Drive, Freehold, Tuesdays, Thursdays 10 AM – 3 PM, and Sundays 11 AM – 3 PM.
